My purpose is to accompany you to your natural state of well-being.

Our bodies endure lots of change and a borage of toxins as we log more days on the planet. Sometimes twinges in joints, extra weight, brain fog, fatigue, indigestion, blood sugar issues, and constipation are common and disruptive. Some of us are surprised by unexpected injury or health crises we never imagined.

I understand. In one year, I experienced 3 unexpected surgeries including removal of a rare tumor from my head. Thankfully, my immune system was overworking overtime, and I am grateful to be here.

As someone living with an autoimmune disease, I was already tuned into special food plans. In my life and practice, I’ve seen how using food as medicine empowers people to be well for a lifetime. Today, the tools of nutritional therapy can help both of us prevent illness, recover faster and enjoy our best possible health — come what may. Nourishing body, mind, and spirit takes effort AND makes life so much better. Won’t you join me?

My approach is informed by Classical Five Element principles from Chinese Medicine which teaches how to enjoy every season of our life (and the year). If you’re already working with an acupuncturist, our work can easily integrate with those treatments. I honor the Health At Every Size® principles which aim to end weight discrimination and improve access to quality healthcare regardless of size. I also value 12-step principles. Overeaters Anonymous offers positive solutions and tools for anyone who overeats, under-eats, or experiences any version of disordered eating (which is most of us).

Studies show most chronic disease is not based on genes, but rather behavior and environment, which we can influence. I’m happy to help you discover the best way forward for your unique body, age, and lifestyle. Let’s do this together!
